I'm excited to be starting this new chapter in my life. Seriously how many times can you re-invent yourself before 50? My hubby and I have owned and ran several businesses, we worked hard and rarely gave our self a break. To many people depended on us to be there on the ground making the daily grind. No one could handle things as well as we could, couldn't let go of the control even for a day or two, not even on weekends. At least that is what we had convinced our selves.
The other part of that was the excuses as to why we never took vacations or time off. on the other activities My hubby coached soccer; recreation, club and travel ball and even HS. All the while I was running the kids around to their different activities and helping manage the teams he coached. Just like most Moms I tried to do it all, while still running 2 business that need someone "on call" 24/7/365.
Now the kids are grown and both married, I sold the business and we started a little ranch with our son. I've started having more time on my hands and came to realization that we missed out on some great additional memories and that wasn't fair to us or our kids. Vacations, relaxation and just plain getting away from the daily grind to rejuvenate.
That's when the passion emerged, EVERYONE needs a break, EVERYONE has a vacation bucket list, just not everyone KNOWS how to get it. Wether it is a staycation to explore the area you live in, going an hour (or more) away to just unplug OR your ready to take that longer bigger amazing once in a life time vacation. I am and will be here to make that dream happen. To take the stress away from the planning and details so all someone else has to do is enjoy and recharge.
I realized the next great adventure in my life is to become a travel agent, no that's not quite right... to become a "Dreams into reality" expert. Lucky me I have a great husband who believes in me and excited with me to make dream vacations a reality for other people who don't know how to vacation.
